I thoroughly enjoy spending time with people who I can learn from. So here are my three top learning experiences from 2015.

Cookham Dean CC is one of the leading cricket clubs in Berkshire, set in a lovely village between Maidenhead and Marlow.  Last season, the 1st XI were promoted to the Home Counties Premier League (Division 2) following consecutive league title wins, and the Club has three other senior Saturday XI’s in the Thames Valley League, and a strong colts set-up particularly in the younger age groups.

The batsmen are looking for a second run and you are in the deep. The both look up to see your throw, as do most of the batsmen waiting to come in. There is a subtle moment of expectation: Just how good is this guy’s throw?

You sear it in head high, dipping into the keeper’s gloves so he doesn’t have to move.

Dartford cricket club are looking to employ a director of cricket. This would involve delivering senior adult coaching on a Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and playing in the first team in the Kent premier league. The director will be tasked with leading on the overall coaching and development strategy for the clubs elite players. The candidate should have relevant coaching and playing credentials.

Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Cricket Boards (BBO)are going to be jointly running two Women's U23 Squads across the region.

Addressing the current gap in opportunities and strengthening the pathway between Youth County programs (ending at U17) and Senior County Squads.Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire are also looking to work more closely in the running of their senior squads.
