Cricket Show 333: Competition Winner

Filed in:

This week's winner of the Cricket Show podcast question competition is Fraser. He wins a free coaching course from PitchVision Academy.

The winning question was,

"I am currently completing my ECB Level 2 coaching course and coaching in the East of Scotland and listen every week. I had a question answered a couple of years ago on chinaman bowling. Since then I have focused more on orthodox left are spin to give me great control. I am now 23 years old and currently I trying to break into our first team but I am still regarded as to slow and loopy a bowler and although I can use this pick up wickets at the tail. I would like to be able to attack higher order batsmen. Can you give me any advice on how to generate more speed without losing flight or accuracy? Should I be looking at arm speed or strength work or is there another avenue to explore. I know that spinning the ball is still the key but I would like to have a good variation of pace to use as a weapon too."
