Background:
SCCC operates a highly successful business managing clients for match day Hospitality, conferencing and events business. The Club has modern, newly built facilities catering for both small and large scale functions. Market share and revenue has increased year on year and we have established a reputation as the leading venue in the local area.
The Person:
This position is a crucial appointment in a small and close knit team. We require an individual with strong Account Management skills with a sales background and track record of delivery who will be selling both match day and non-match day Hospitality. Experience in the sports sector would be desirable but not essential. Selling expertise and experience remains the core priority but the appointee must be capable of making sure the client experience is of the highest standard; this isn’t just a sales role but one that demands a wide range of customer facing skills. It also requires the development of an excellent relationship with the whole Commercial and Catering teams; a strong, confident personality with excellent inter-personal skills is therefore vital. This is a demanding role with significant responsibility but in an organisation which has a strong Club ethos and camaraderie.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Account manage a range of clients to maximise selling opportunities across all functions of the business.
- Responsible for sales across all non-cricket events and match day hospitality.
- To be “The Face” of SCCC for all commercial sales, conferences and events.
- Develop new event ideas to generate increased use of facilities.
- Involved in developing the marketing for client sales.
- Responsible for selling SCCC internal events.
- Other duties as directed by the Chief Executive or Head of Commercial Operations.
Salary:
