Cricket Australia (CA) is one of the nation’s premier sporting bodies, with a vision for Cricket to be Australia’s favourite sport. A key pillar of the Australian cricket strategy is to “Produce the best teams, players and officials in the world” with the ambition of being #1 in all formats of the game for both males and females and develop teams and players that inspire the nation.

Our goal is to create the best player pathway in the world. In partnership with SSA CA has invested significant money and resources to better align the School Sport Australia (SSA) and Australian Cricket Pathway.  The SSA U16s will be overseen and managed by CA – with strong support & cooperation from SSA. SSA & CA are proud of the progress made to date.

The continued development of the partnership requires the best available staff to assist in the holistic development of the players and effective partnerships with State and Territory programs. The Australian U16s Coach is responsible for leading and managing the development of these players and the performance of the Australian U16s Team.

With demonstrated ability in developing high quality players and teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring this team is reflective of the spirit and ethos of all Australian cricket teams. You have a collaborative, innovative and flexible approach and understand that effective communication and team work is the key to building successful Australian teams.

You are an outstanding educator with current qualifications and experience teaching and coaching within the School Sport network. You are seeking further coaching development and opportunities. A Level 3 accredited coach (or equivalent) is preferred but Level 2 accredited coaches are welcome to apply as well.
