Redbourn is a small club with four teams playing in the Herts Cricket Leagues. We have a strong junior section and actively encourage the juniors to play senior cricket. The club is looking for an enthusiastic coach who will organise senior training during the season and help push the four sides to higher standards.The candidate should have:

1. A passion for club cricket and a track record of coaching senior teams

2. The ability to inspire, motivate and encourage young people

3. Positive and enthusiastic attitude

4. Excellent communication skills and punctuality

What is expected:

1. Co-ordinate all senior training sessions

2. To conduct sessions in accordance with the appropriate ECB guidelines and good practice

3. To organise and coach at outdoor net sessions in conjunction with the 1st and 2nd XI captains

4. Encourage the players to act in a sportsmanlike manner at all times and

ensure that the spirit of the game be promoted at all times

5. Any issues prevalent between players should be raised with the Cricket Committee.

6. To write and present a close out report to the cricket committee at the end of each season

7. To produce action plans for the under 19 squad members at the end of September 2015 in preparation for winter training

Requirements:

1. Up to date CRB, First Aid and Working with Children certification

2. Attendance at Outdoor nets - 20 weeks  April 2015 (Tuesdays 6pm-8.30pm)

3. ECB Level 3 coaching qualification or a Level 2 with a proven track record of delivering results with 16-19 year olds

4. Up to date membership of the ECBCA.

Terms and Conditions.

1. Payment shall be made against signed (by the employee) and approved (by a member of the Cricket Committee) timesheets on a weekly basis paid 1 week in arrears.

2. Any pre booked holidays / appointments that may result in a non attendance shall be agreed with the Cricket Committee a minimum of 4 weeks in advance.
