Warwickshire County Cricket Club (WCCC) have an exciting opportunity for a Community Development Executive to join the Commercial and Marketing team.

Reporting in to the T20 Project Manager this role requires someone to develop beneficial and sustainable relationships with key stakeholder groups in the community, including but not limited to City Council; Schools; Cricket Clubs; Corporates and Ethnic Community Groups.

The Community Development Executive will be required to engage these groups through the utilisation of key WCCC assets such as Edgbaston Stadium, the Birmingham Bears team and the Indoor Cricket Centre.

A key facet of the role is also to ensure that the club has increased presence and visibility across a variety of community groups and events with the objective of building a positive image of the club, driving our Corporate Social Responsibility programme and helping to form deeper connections in order to build affinity and support for the club.

The role will require someone to enhance and further develop new projects started over the last 12 months. There will also be a creative licence to devise new projects that help  hit key community objectives working with existing stakeholders and partners.

The ideal candidate must have experience of working in a community related role with a track record of delivering successful community programmes. Commercial skills and the ability to act as a Brand Ambassador are vital and a passion for sport, particularly cricket is desirable.
