An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Yorkshire Cricket Board as the Community Cricket Coach covering the City of York.
Applicants need a sound knowledge and understanding of cricket, a commitment to increase player participation at all levels, proven administrative and managerial ability and good communication skills.
Playing and coaching experience and UKCC L2 qualification is essential. A key focus will be to launch club and school Chance to Shine cricket programmes to engage and retain young people in sport and cricket
The post is managed and funded by Yorkshire Cricket Board through Chance to Shine and the post holder will work directly with local cricket clubs and schools.
The successful applicant will need to be energetic and enthusiastic and will join an established and successful team.
The post is for 37 hours a week for an initial contract of one year commencing 1st October or as soon possible.
