Terms of reference

  • Provide the Board with additional capacity to manage improvement initiatives
  • Work across Management Teams on common activities
  • Represent the OCB at local and national events
  • Key relationships:

- Board

- Workforce

- Stakeholders

- Volunteers

- Sponsors

All Directors have a Governance responsibility to OCB Ltd and to the National Governing Body (ECB)

 

Scope of role

  • There is no fixed scope
  • Priorities will be agreed and set by the Board

 

Commitment

  • Up to 11 Board meetings per year
  • 1 AGM and 3 Members Meetings per year
  • Attending local and national events

 

Key Qualities

  • Ability to work with a professional workforce and a team of volunteers
  • Accessible daytime, evenings and weekends
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to manage conflict and escalations
  • Will make decisions for the greater good of Oxfordshire Cricket
  • Good budgeting and financial control with competent IT skills
