JOBS: Directors and Non Executive Directors

The vision of the Somerset Cricket Board is to make cricket the sport of choice for people in Somerset.
In order to help achieve this vision, the company is seeking up to three dynamic Non Executive Directors to provide support to the existing operational and management board. These positions will be filled on a voluntary basis with expenses paid to cover any costs associated with fulfilling the role.
The candidate(s) will ideally have a wide range of business experience and be well networked within the local business community. The Board are particularly seeking individuals with expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Finance
- HR
- Marketing and/or advertising
Whilst some experience of managing grassroots sport is preferred, knowledge of local cricket is not essential, since the ideal candidate(s) will be able to provide independent constructive challenge to the current operational and management board.
