JOBS: Head Coach - CIYMS (Ire)

CIYMS Cricket Club is seeking to appoint a Head Coach in a part-time role, averaging 30 hours per week for the period from April to September 2014. This non-playing role will involve leading coaching of all age groups in the club from Under 11s through to the 1st XI.

Applicants are required to meet the following Criteria:-

  • Hold at least ECB Level 2/ UKCC Level 2 Coaching Certificate (or Equivalent)
  • Significant experience of teaching or coaching cricket to young and adult cricketers – male and female, ideally in a range of environments including school, club, regional age groups, and senior level.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • To have played a high level of cricket preferably First Class or International Level
  • Certificates of attendance on first aid, relevant good practice and child protection/safeguarding courses.
  • A full clean current driving licence.
  • An up to date Police check

The successful applicant will be expected to organise and run all coaching sessions at the club (minimum of 4 nights per week) and be in attendance at all 1st XI matches. They will also be expected to report to and attend Selection Committee Meetings.

 

An excellent remuneration package is available dependent on experience.
