Role: Primary School Sports Coach
Hours: Part time and Full time
Part time: from £10 to £20 per hour
Full time coach: from £16,000 to £19,000 per annum
Opportunities to progress to an Area Manger position with salaries ranging from £20,000 to £23,000 per annum.

Surrey, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, South Birmingham, Bath, Bristol, Devon and Cornwall.
Role & Responsibilities
Go Active are currently recruiting experienced Sports Coaches and PPA Teachers to work in Primary Schools for curriculum PE services across all our areas.
For this role Go Active are looking for coaches to deliver across a wide range of sports to children aged 5 to 11 as part of their exciting plans for the new academic year in September and are keen to appoint the best Sports Coaching and PE Teaching talent in the preceding months.
In addition to their PPA services Go Active have been named as the UK’s Best After School & Breakfast Club Provider and coach activities that range from the traditional to the alternative – Football to Street Dance, Street Surfing, Urban Polo and many more. Consequently, we are looking for a variety of coaches with different qualifications & experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan & deliver Go Active’s full range of coaching services to schools & clubs, during curriculum time and at after school and breakfast clubs.
- Deliver innovative and engaging sessions.
- Ensure a safe learning environment.
- Represent Go Active within schools.
- Liaise with school staff, parents and children, offering support and guidance on potential areas of interest and improvement.
- Possible development into Area Manager
Requirements:
Essential
- UKCC Level 2 coaching qualification.
- Able to use your initiative and deliver consistently high standards of coaching.
- Have a commitment to ensuring all pupils achieve the best they possibly can.
- Be energetic, displaying a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- Full UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle for daily use.
Desirable
- Experience of working in schools.
- Child Safeguarding & First Aid Certification.
- All applicants will be required to have an enhanced CRB/DBS check undertaken & approved before representing Go Active.
