Essential Criteria:

• Professional Squad -Sport Psychologist
• BASES and/or BPS registered HCPC registered At Least 3 years demonstrable experience in professional sport.

Job outline:

• Provide Psychology Profiling including mental health and mental game development of all Professional players twice yearly with related individualised goals.
• To use the Essex mental game and mental wellbeing template consistently when profiling all professional players.
• To refer on players to appropriate psychological specialist, if players fail to meet ‘minimal benchmark’ from questionnaires in mental wellness profiling.
• Individualised goals from mental game profiling and progress with these from sport psychology support to be relayed back to Essex CCC coaching staff prior to inter- disciplinary reviews/player development reviews or as requested by coaching staff.
• Provide one to one support to professional players.
• To document notes as outlined by professional body
• Support the club with the development of a leading Psychology provision in county/world cricket.
• Provide team support as guided by the lead coaches.
