An excellent opportunity has arisen to work in the Fundraising team for the Cricket Foundation charity which launched Chance to Shine in 2005. The programme has given more than two million children in a third of state schools across England & Wales the opportunity to play cricket and experience its educational benefits. It is the biggest school sports development initiative operating in England and Wales.
In order to enable the Cricket Foundation to continue its work, a Trusts & Foundations Manager isrequired to help manage existing Trust & Foundation relationships and develop new ones, and so help the Cricket Foundation reach its fundraising targets.
Main Duties:
The job holder will support the Cricket Foundation fundraising team in carrying out their roles and responsibilities and will have the following specific responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships and communications with Trusts and Foundations
- Secure repeat giving from existing Trusts and Foundations donors
- Proactively prospect for new Trusts and Foundations to meet set personal fundraising target
- Work with other Cricket Foundation colleagues to produce clear Case for Support and funding applications for Trusts and Foundations
The job holder should be able to demonstrate the following:

Experience and qualifications
- Strong IT skills: knowledge and experience of using MS Office Word, Excel
- Two years of Trusts & Foundations fundraising experience
- Knowledge and experience of working in a similar sized organisation
- Experience of CRM/Fundraising Databases
