Phoenix Cricket Club, the oldest cricket club in Ireland, Est. 1830, plays in Division two of the Leinster Cricket Union (LCU) and competes against other teams with players such as, Kevin O’Brien, Trent Johnston and Jeremy Bray to name a few.
We ourselves have had international players such as Dave Langford-Smith and the current Irish U17 captain Tom Anders has come directly through our Youth section.
We are seeking interest from those who would like to take up the role as a player/coach in 2014. The position would involve working with our best youth players who make up our Cricket Academy and developing our existing players further.
Requirements:
- Police Clearance
- Be available to live and work in Dublin from Mid April to Early September. (Assistance provided)
- You must not have played a First Class match in the past 12 months (LCU rule)
- Have a recognized coaching qualification
- Be of a playing standard suitable to a high level of cricket
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of club life and be committed to developing our players and youth members.
