I've been encouraging the players I coach to be more single aware recently. That's a tough ask during indoor nets, and it shows.

Since starting a policy of recording every time a player looks for a quick single there have been 4129 balls bowled and 93 quick singles taken. Even taking into account other runs, wickets and play and misses, that's 2278 chances to pick up a single.
