We have has a lot of questions coming in for Michael Bevan this week, so I picked a good one for the finisher to answer,

"Hey, Michael, I'm a big fan of yours the last 20 years! Would you say the Indian skipper Dhoni is the modern version of you?"

Here is Michael's reply,

"Thanks for your support! I think MS Dhoni is one of the most influential cricketers India has ever had. His leadership skills and ability to rescue and control the innings in the shorter form of the game for India are unparalleled.

"His ability shift gears from rotation to boundary hitting at the right time is the reason he is one of the best exponents of one day batting. I think he can score more quickly than I could, particularly in subcontinent conditions. I put MS Dhoni and Hussey as two of the best ODI batters ever to have played the game."
